I'm a guest on Turo. What should I know after booking?Pick Up If you choose to pick up the car on site, please give us a 30 mins heads up ahead. If you choose delivery at the airport, please send over your flight# at least a day ahead. PRIMARY DRIVER MUST be present with a valid driver's license to pickup and return. It’s optional but recommended to take photos of the car to document the condition before starting your trip. So you won’t be held responsible for pre-existing damages. . More info about check-in. Additional Driver Anyone else who wants to drive the car must be added as an additional driver so that insurance can provide coverage. Here is how. Additional Miles The allowed miles for your trip are listed on Turo. The “Total miles included” on Turo is the limit for your entire trip. Please make sure you’re aware of the number of miles included for your trip. There will be a fee for additional miles driven. Unless you selected unlimited miles. Trip Extension The car needs to be returned by the scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo. If you think you will not be able to return the car by your scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo, please use the “Change trip” and “Change trip length” options to extend your trip before it officially ends. This is to protect you as Turo insurance is only effective during the rental periods. Late Return For a less than 30 mins late return, message me on Turo to see whether the car is available. If the car is not returned by the scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo, you will be charged an additional usage fee, a late fee, and an improper return fee per Turo regulations. Or you can extend the trip. Cleanness Per Turo policy, renters are obliged to return the car in as-good or better tidiness than given. NO Smoking, NO pets, No drugs are allowed in the car. Violators will be subject to fine up to $250. Fuel Please return the car with the same or more gas than when you picked up the car. If you do not have time to fill up the tank upon return, no problem. The standard charge is $10 inconvenient fee + the cost of gas. Toll You can go to the tollway. There is no extra charge other than the toll fee. An invoice with details will be sent via Turo within a few weeks after your trip ends. If you are entering or exiting the airport, you will need a ticket at the entrance. Parking Ticket If you get a parking ticket, please pay the ticket right away. If you don’t pay the ticket as soon as possible, we will get a copy of the ticket in the mail. The cost of the ticket and a processing fee will be charged via Turo Accidents In case of an accident, the Turo Insurance ID Card is available on the app when you view the trip details. Please write down or take pictures of the vehicle info (VIN, license plate, and state of vehicle), driver license info (name, address, and driver license number), and insurance info (insurance company and policy number) of all parties involved. Please inform us of the details of the accident and share all relevant documents. And be sure to take clear photos of all damage and file a damage claim report on the app. Roadside assistance of Turo: 1-415-965-4525. How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
